Don’t spend hours cleaning your tile & grout. We can help!
One of the toughest things to keep clean is the tile and grout that you have throughout your home. Using the traditional method of a brush and some bleach or any other chemical could take hours upon hours to do and you may not end up with the desired result you were looking for. The key to grout cleaning is making sure you are using the right tools for the job.
Thankfully for you, there is some good news. Grout and tile cleaning can be accomplished with a much easier method. Not only can the job be done better, but it can be done in far less time. So what is this magic method?
The answer to that question is steam. Dry vapor steam can be used to clean the grout in your home and get it as close to new as it will ever be. With the use of the Ladybug dry vapor steam cleaner, you’ll be using the combination of steam and pressure to get deep into your grout lines to clean them. Not only does this method result in clean grout, but it also sanitizes in the process. The combination of steam and the pressure will remove all the dirt, germs and built up bacteria that lives within the pores of your grout lines.
Once you have cleaned the grout lines with the dry vapor steam and they are dry, you’ll want to seal the grout lines. Sealing the grout lines is a good idea so you don’t run into the following problems.
Stained grout
- Moisture working into the grout
- Mildew and mold growing within the grout
- Mildew and mold growing under the tile
It is important to understand that applying a sealer to the grout does not mean you will have a floor that looks brand new all the time. A sealer will help slow down the process of the floor becoming dirty as well as preventing the buildup of mold and mildew. Once the sealer has worn off, you’ll need to have the cleaning done again and sealer reapplied. If you don’t want to apply sealer, then it will just mean that the cleaning of the grout, needs to be done more often.
One way to test if it is time to have your grout resealed is by taking a few drops of water and letting it sit on the grout lines. If it soaks in, then it’s time to clean and reseal. If the water beads up and does not soak in, then it should be in good shape. How much use your tile is getting will determine how often you should have it resealed. If the grout is still in good shape, but it is still not looking clean, then you’ll want to repeat the cleaning and sealing process again.
